Probably not Photoshop, probably Metalshop. I cannot imagine Chrysler being dumb enough to try this dumb stunt again. (Oh wait…that's not true…yes I can.)

I bet they would sell many more of them this time around than the first time.

It’s a sure bet, more will sell as long as that wing stays big and ugly, and a pair of the biggest fartcans are hung from the bumper with care in hopes some ricer will soon be there… with cash.

I suspect this is some aftermarket prototype kit not unlike the one for a 90-97 Chevy PU truck conversion to an early fifties look; also quite ugly.

Heide Performance Products http://www.hppcars.com/ debuted the kits at SEMA in 2009. They go for upwards of $16k.

First off, unlike most guys around here, I LOVE customs. I have no problem with creatively altering the looks of a car. However, one must understand that when you do so, you introduce a lot of subjectivity and open yourself up to a lot of criticism.

Along with several other issues, my biggest problem with this "kit" is that the nose tapers in width. This exaggerates my biggest styling criticism with the Challenger, that it's too tall as compared to it's length and width. If the front tip of the "nose cone" was as wide as the fenders, I think it would look better.

But adding (Plymouth) Superbird looks to a (Dodge) Challenger ain't my cup of tea, just like adding a Barracuda AAR hood scoop to my Dart would be "wrong". A Challenger TA scoop would be acceptable...

Just my opinion.
