Looking for suggestions on master cylinder, proportioning valve and distribution block set ups. The car currentlly has 9" drums all around. I have a ford 8.8 from an explore going in the back and up front 12.5" rotors and twin piston calipers from a gt mustang. I was looking at doctordiffs aluminum master cylinder packages will they work for my 4 disc setup?

On my 8,8 explorer/10,25unicast 4 wheel setup I used a stock 75 disc master cyl and combination v/v.

It works so well I never used the adjustable prop v/v I bought.

What Master cylinder bore size do I need for my 64 valiant. I currently have the single pot master and am trying to finish up my brake plumbing but need to get the new Master cylinder.

I called up Doctor Diff and he was very helpful. We where on the phone for over half an hour he helped research and do the math so we could figure out the bore size required for the master cylinder. A great guy to work with. We figured out that the back of the car will be rear brake biased so I will have to run a proportioning valve in the rear, I kinda already thought I would have to but Its nice to have the numbers to show you what you really need. I ordered his 15/16 Master Cylinder kit, and the adjustable prop. valve from summit.

Just to check: You didn't order the MC and valve from Cass (Doctordiff) after he helped you so much? He is a great guy indeed, and should be rewarded for his efforts, EVEN if the parts are more expensive from him. This is one reason that small business with good service go out of business... We should all expect to pay more for good service, as that saves us lots of $$ in the long run.

If he told you to go ahead and order elsewhere, then that's cool.

That last sentence is in correct. I must have typed it to fast and it sounded right in my head. I had already ordered the adjustable prop valve from summit before talking to Cass. So I am good to go on the set up. I did order the master cylinder, wheel bearing and seal kit, off-set spring hangers and tapered ball joint adapters from Cass yesterday. He is a great guy to work with and knows what he is talking about. Any one with axle or brake questions should not hesitate to talk to him and order from him.

Excellent. I send people his way regularly...
