I've had a V8 rear end in my '63 for many moons now. The larger brakes do not pose a problem with normal braking, but when a woman driver cause me to use moderate to heavy braking that rear end locks up real fast. I've read here that you can use a smaller wheel cylinder to re-sync the brake system, but I haven't found which wheel cylinder to use. Does someone know which ones I need?
TIA!

(Still have the stock drum brakes, single master, no booster.)

Smaller front brakes than rear ones isn't a safe situation; please make plans to upgrade the front brakes ASAP.

For now, the wheel cylinders you want are
NAPA-United 37696, Raybestos WC37696, Wagner F113704, or ACDelco 18E268 is the wheel cylinder you want — times two (left = right).
