I measured the outside diameter of my exhaust and it equates to 1/16 under 3/4" so that contradicts the 1-7/8" exhaust diameter I have been quoted for my stock '73 Scamp. I did however measure and found that the exhaust tube over the inlet of the muffler combined equaled less than 1/16 of an inch under 1-7/8". So the stock exhaust diameters are measured in outside diameter and since I got my Carter BBD on my slant the upgraded exhaust will be 2.25" OD right? Just want to confirm this.
