The only one I've seen was Howard Davis' and he did that one himself. There was a picture of it in the aluminum head thread a couple months ago.

CNC dude when you make one up I'd take one. I'm in the early stage of a turbo motor build also I'm looking at eventually putting some serious boost in a motor and would love to have the extra insurance of tieing the bottom end together

Stanzilla I seen the Howard Davis one as well that what started me looking

Depending on how much and when you're going to do one I'm interested if it's no trouble. Cheers

Doc, I have one block of each(cast iron and aluminum)so I can try to make it accomodate both or make it specific for each if it cant fit both. Does ARP have a longer main stud that will work for a main girdle.

ARP will make anything you want... as long as you have the $$$.
The longer main studs for the cast iron engine should not be an issue, many different lengths are already in ARPs catalog.

The Alm Block's main studs will be harder, seeing that the studs have longer theaded ends and are releived, to allow oil to pass into the cap assembles, to feed the crank bearings.

Make sure to read closely:

We were recently asked to design a halo type girdle for a dedicated slant six engine. A custom pan was to be made by the customer with scavenge pumps. Please note the design will probably NOT fit into any OEM slant six pan and will probably have frame clearance issues. It also does not have a provision for a stock pickup tube. Please double check all measurements and clearances. It is designed to come very close on the pressure or downstroke side of a stock 225 rotating assembly. You may have to make small notches for rod bolt/nut clearance there. It is suggested that the part be cut by water abrasive jet from cold rolled plate steel. Any warp in the plate will be bad for main bearing alignment.

Mr. Johnson used to be a member here. I have one of his scrapers in my motor. All I will say is that I will never spend another dime with him.
