Hey...you know that flimsy cable....right?? With the eyelet on one end and the hook on the other. Found in the drum brakes on my 63 Valiant. Well it snapped and made a messy noise and terrible stopping. Does anyone make replacements for these? or are they a Boneyard only item??
Thanks.....G.

Last I checked, you could still buy these new.
If it is a 9 inch set-up, drop me a PM (to Doctor Dodge) with your address and I will mail you a couple of used ones.

Hey DD,

Thanks I found them. Napa stocks them. Just in case anyone is interested, these little buggers are Mopar part #2266273 and Napa Part #80750. If they're old, replace 'em and avoid the havoc that has been wreaked on my brake system.

Might I suggest they be replaced every-other brake job, cheap insurance as they do have a tendency to fray at the furrel....Dave
