Well we got the old truck running and drove it around the block..still needs some more work but one thing at a time. I am keeping it stock for now and was wanting to know what you all use for spark plugs, wires and distributor. The engine is an 85 in an 87 body.

Just use the search! I know the spark plugs are made by NGK... Not sure of the number off the top of my head though.

Did a search, not really a lot of info. I read how to redo the gas line, valve adj. and saw some info on older /6 engines but nothing for late model slnt

I forgot the coil Dan recommends (I have it in my '73 Dart) but I have NGK plugs, and Bosch wires. I know they aren't the preferred choice but so far so good... The 8mm wires from Summit Racing may be worth trying though and are pretty cheap.

Late peanut head is limited to NGK UR5's for the stocker (UR 4 or 6 depending on if more or less heat is needed).

If he's got the ESC system intact coil and wires won't need to be hot rod, as the computer on the air cleaner does all the thinking (or worse misfiring...)

Make sure to get a good dizzy cap CH-410X was the best but sources are spotty.
