NOS from any of the many NOS parts dealers. Can't imagine why you'd want one; about the only thing they're good for is raising the odds you'll be doing the manifold R&R again with a real gasket.

Is there a brand or part number that's a recommended choice for intake and exhaust gaskets?

Use the search engine feature. There are links and many discussions. I have used both the Aussie and the Remflex gaskets. The Remflex has worked the best for me.

I have always had good luck with the regular FelPro gasket.

I've had no problems with my Aussie gasket so far. It just took awhile for them to send it.

They occasionally turn up on EBay..Thats where i got my last one from.I have had very good success with this style of gasket, providing everything is in good condition.

The metal gaskets work okeh if the head and both manifolds are brand new. Because that's never the case these days, the metal gasket is not a wise pick.

It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions.

I have a couple NOS Mopar gasket sets that had the steel gasket in them. I threw them away.

Note to self: NEVER buy NOS OEM gasket sets at swap meets. There is really very little in them worth using after they've sat for 30 years.
