What type of fuel filters are the best to use?

The kind with a metal housing -- not plastic or glass, and not made in China. Try for a name brand like Wix or Purolator; always avoid Fram filters of any variety (air, oil, fuel, etc.).

You may want to do the Fuel line mod.
