Hi all. i have found a couple of decent dash pads for my 73 Duster recently at local junkyards but I can't figure out how to remove them without damage. It appears that they are glued to the dash, is this correct? Any tips on how to remove without damage? Thanks in advance as always.

No glue.... there are studs protruding from the metal frame, and then nuts holding them to the dash. You have to reach underneath the dash and work them loose with either your fingers or a socket and small extension/ratchet. Some you probably can't see and have to do completely by feel. There is probably 6 or 7 of them. It's quite a royal pain. After I removed my pad, I put in the replacment just as is with one or two of the most accessible nuts and that was plenty to keep it in place.
