I talked to Gordon while he was at Woodburn. He wants to start an inliner series, and needs to get some car count to justify it.

Linda and I are looking at making the trip for the August 25-26 Nostalgia event. I will get more info about this.

How about it? Who wants to run Bremerton? :D

This isn't a slant six race, but if there is enough interest, we will look into putting in for an SSRN race next year. Should be a hoot!

Ceej the part about having for this year, 3 back to back weekends of racing in this month would be a hardship that I can not do. :( :(

I understand Richard. I still have to get a couple days off around the weekend. I'll still make the trip if I can't get time off. It will be a 250 mile pull, but I've done Redding without time off, so can survive.

Reed is looking into it. Maybe we can get some feedback from some more of the Washington and Oregon crowd. Even if I end up running street machine II up there, the change of pace and relatively cool weather would be welcome!

Yes and it is a kick watching those big bricks go down the track pushing aside the air space.
They do better than you would think!

Well, my brother says I can borrow the van, so now I just have to see what my schedule is looking like that weekend. I know there are several guys that drag race vans. However, they typically install some flavor of big block or hemi. If I end up taking my brother's van down the track, I predict it will go no faster than a 25 second quarter mile. Stock tires, 3.2 rear gears, and it doesn't even have a wide ratio 904 in it. Plus, I have never even been to a drag strip, much less made a pass.

Not getting a lot of interest in this. If more folks aren't going, I won't make the pull. Perhaps next year with more lead time folks will be interested in establishing an Inliner up there.

I'll call Gordon and let him know it doesn't look like it's going to fly this time.
