904 The car is in park but still rolling. Can this be fixed with a linkage adjustment?

Yes, a linkage adjustment will likely fix it, but if everything else works correctly (you get Reverse in "R", Neutral in "N", Drive in "D", etc.) then there may be more serious repair work needed.

thanks Dan. i did some work on the instrument panel and lowered the steering column about an inch. Im thinking maybe I boogered it up then.

I'm beginning to learn the only reason I work on cars is because I work on cars. Seems like I solve one problem just to create another.

Glad to help out. It's easy to rotate the steering column when you lower it, and not get it back all the way in its correctly-rotated position when you reinstall. In your case, the column may have rotated counterclockwise (as viewed from the driving seat).
