If anybody has a cracked or junk crank, I need one for a project. Just threw one away a couple months ago, and now I need one for a project.
Are you picky about cast or forged, or if it is pre-67?

If not Picky I have 2-pre-67 cranks that I have no use for that are just holding up the side of the shop....

So, CJ won both days?? He will be hard to catch this year if so. Congrats on at least one race win, Ceej!

The ladies were present.
PJ had to pull out of competition when she was overcome by the heat. We're waiting to hear how she's doing.
Wendy went at least two rounds Saturday. We'll have to see the track report for Sunday, she didn't advance to the second round, but I don't know specifics.

Terry pulled in to run on Sunday, and after breaking his throttle cable at the line, twice, the thrash began to replace it. A local racer supplied a cable, and the engineering to make it work began! We're hoping to see some great things from his car, as the tuning stage gets fully under way! :D

The heat played havok with all of our equipment in some way. I must have drank a full cooler of Gatoraides and Waters. Saturday we got into Mark's tasty beverage collection, and were in rare form!
I looked and felt like the south end of a north bound Yak Sunday morning, but managed to get it together for competition. Likely all the morning Gatoraide quenching, and the excellent Biscuits and Gravy served by the track vendor!

good racing CJ!!!! not easy to win back to backr's!! really hot up there though, friday was like 108 when we got there about 1pm and left after set up. sat wasn't as bad but still tough. my dad took me out when i hit a -.004 light  and he then lost to wendy....first time night racing and i found out i cant see $#!+ lol. sunday was still hot but we started early and when racing was down it was just peaking...i got to the semi's and lost to Mark, but had a good time and like they have little casinos in every bar in Oregon!!!! Also it was the first time ever all (3) Erickson's won a round the same day. My uncle Dave made the trip up from Redding and didnt race saturday due to heat and some car prob's but we all won 1 round sunday!! good times and see you in Redding next month!!! And PJ feel better and rest up till Redding!!!!!!

Sounds like even hotter than Woodburn. Hope PJ feels better. I had enough toasty rides in the Dart to last me a while.

I arrived back in Blacksburg on Sat to high 70s and breezy - home schweet home!

Mark Murray should have won that last race. His car was spot on, and he had me at the tree.

His car ran within a hundredth of his dial all day. In the final it bogged off the line. He's thinking it was a vapor lock due to the heat. He had me, then had a hickup feeding fuel to the twin 1 bbl setup. He has a large aluminum heat shield, and the fuel lines are routed over the valve cover with insulating jackets over them. He was set to take Sunday.

The fuel system I installed on the Hooptie didn't hickup once, but my temperatures were a concern all weekend. I was ready to pull out Saturday when the temperatures started spiking.
I had problems getting temperatures back down, so the Hooptie had a two tenths swing Sunday. Hard to dial in the heat.

I'll be flushing the system this weekend, installing a new balancer so I can verify my timing, and load the last race fuel into the cell. Might need to slow the timing down with a different spring. I'm all in before stall.

CJ

You are correct Aric...I have adjusted the points on Killer Bee site. always check after each race to be sure you all have been given the proper points. SOMETIMES I make mistakes  :(
Thanks for the help
