All '62-'66 A-body left-hand-drive K-frames are interchangeable.

There is non difference between the 6 and V8 K frames. Obviously motor mounts are different.

thank you.

it seems from looking at the underside that all I have to do to to perform the swap is to support the engine, disconnect the LCAs, strut rods, torsion bars and idler arm and unbolt the k-member and install the new one. am i correct or am i missing something?
the k-member i'm looking at buying comes with the torsion bars for a v8. is there any advantage to using them with the slant 6, or should I keep my originals?

Go ahead and grab the torsion bars. The V8 bars are generally thicker (better) than the \6 items. Look at the numbers stamped in the ends of the bars. Stock 6-cylinder bars will be stamped 888 and 889. V8 bars are 890 and 891. Heavy-duty bars (available with any engine) are 892 and 893. Be sure to put the right bar on the right side and the left bar on the left side!
