Hey I have a 74 225 with a BBD two barrel carb I currently do not have a choke hooked up to the carb. I am looking to install an electric choke and I was looking for some assisitance with what model to use I do not want to have the stove pipe on the exhaust mainifold heat is not an issue as I do not have a heater on the 56 I am only looking to avoid the hard starting cold blooded issues I am having with the carb setup without a choke. Electric choke kit #1232. Make a new pushrod out of brass rod from the hardware store to reach your V8 choke lever.

Hey 56 Dodge,

I just got one of the electric choke kits that Dan referred you to. Make sure you stay on top of CarbsOnly once you order. They were in no hurry to send me my choke once they had charged my card. It took them 4 weeks to put the thing in the mail after I ordered even though the guy I talked to on the phone said he had them in stock when I called. If you don't hear anything within two weeks after ordering, just send an email or call.
