What #NGK's should I get and is 0.040 the proper gap setting? and remove the washers for 1970 225 correct?

I know a brass contact rotor is prefferable but what brand and and cap as well, part #'s would be great if anyone knows em,

Also a good reliable set of points and condensor, I have had new ones crap out at really low miles before. (Dont make em like they used to type deal)

I want good plug wires also not top end but somewhere in the middle due to funds.

Thanks folks for any info. Let me know if any details are needed

Welcome here. Tune-up parts and technique suggestions in this thread. Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download. You'll want to get the books described in this thread.

And as soon as you can, change to electronic ignition of one kind or another. Breaker points suck. Me, I like the HEI upgrade, but there are plenty of other good ways to do it, too, and any of them is preferable to points.

Welcome, Outkast. You'll find all the info you need here and in the referenced threads. But I just have to ask: are ya drivin' a backslant car?
