Talked to Mike and Seymour and they are interested in doing another lunch meeting in Des Moines like we did earlier this year. Any other Slanters interested, and when would be a good weekend? It has to be on a Sunday, and Mike has specified it can't be on a weekend when Nebraska plays football. :lol:

I am good with after the 1st of the year sometime. :D

Talked to Seymour this morning, he is on board. He is going to try and recruit some fellow Minnesotans too.

Lunch will be at the same Cracker Barrell right off I-80/35.

We ended up with 10 people from 5 states. Even had a special unannounced visitor form Missouri.

It appeared a good time was had by all.

From the looks of us I'd say most of us are slowing down though. :cry: :lol:

The nice part about Des Moines is that it is about mid point for all of us except Mike E. :D

I would have loved to stopped out there.. It's only an 860 Mile trip for me... and I could have stopped at the American Pickers Shop in LeClaire along the way..

Now we just need to get a few more of yall's to come to the banquet in pigeon forge.
