A third of the links in the recurve section are broken. For example "Ted's Curve" and "Joe's Spreadsheet' lead to 404 pages.

Looks like those are/were links offsite.

Anybody want to find them? (if they still exist)

What are the links that you are trying to recover? I'll see if they are available for recovery if you post the links.

Broken link www.killerbeesracing.com/files/tac/ Joe's Spreadsheet

I guess you can't post files directly to the board, so we'll probably have to send them to a mod or admin to make them available for everyone again.

Ahh ... I thought this was a job for Sherman and Mr. Peabody with their Way Back Machine! But I see that they are files posted to a website, not web pages. The Way Back Machine has millions of old web pages archived, but not, apparently, the files.

Ted and the others will just have to re-post their files.

Here is the link to the Way Back Machine for those interested:
http://archive.org/web/web.php

By looking the Ted's file looks to be an Excel spreadsheet file (by the extention) I havent tried it, and I know there is software avail that will display an Excel spread, but think it would be better as a PDF of some kind, Just a heads up, as not all can actually see/use the dot xls files, or doesnt know how. I know occationally I would run across some of that stuff back in my "WindowsXX" days, then had SOME issues using a Mac (usually easilly fixable tho) and then the other O/S's that has issues or takes some sort of viewer for those types of files, but doing PDF's seems to be the easiest "normal" way to post stuff like that as just about EVERY computer out has an Adobe Reader of some kind, or can get it and not have to "start" a program manually to view a file.

Just an observation...... Its like when the Power Point files first took off, it created tons of problems for the non-up to date Windows user....
