Does anyone know of a good source for engine pulleys? I don't need a full set like March Pulleys, etc.
I'm just having trouble finding the right waterpump pulley for my 318
I took off the A/C and Power Steering, so I need the waterpump to be driven by the same belt as the alternator.
The only pulleys I have been able to find with the right depth are too large in diameter and hit the crank pulley.
Any suggestions?

If you can give me some kind of dimensions, I have a bunch of small block pulleys laying around.

I need the depth (or total height) of the pulley to be 2 7/8" so it will reach back to the second pulley groove on the crank pulley. I will have to measure the diameter this evening and I'll post again tomorrow.
Thanks.

I called my wife and she went down to the garage and measured the pulleys for me! :D

Here's what I think will work...

Depth (total height): 2 7/8" or perhaps 3" to account for thickness of mounting face of pulley

Diameter: No larger than 5 5/8" or it will hit the crank pulley.

It also needs to be able to clear the water pump housing of the later type "Gatling gun" looking water pump. I tried a couple of pulleys that didn't have an interior diameter large enough to clear the pump housing. If worse comes to worse I could find a water pump with the smaller housing I guess. Thanks!

I went and measured all the pulleys that I have. The smallest was 6-1/2". Sorry.

Last night as the kids and I were working on it I noticed that I could just get longer bolts and 3/4" spacers to bring the alternator and bracket out to where it lines up with my current pulley and the front crank pulley. That should solve the problem and allow me to run just the one belt. Thanks for checking.
