First i would like to say i have always adored slant six....my last car was a straight six rambler but now im proud to own a 78 volare wagon.I was thinking of adding relays to the hei i put in..blower motor...and headlights as well as beefing up the headlight wiring.How does this sound?

You sure are not going to hurt anything, and maybe even help out the 30+ year old wiring and switches..

I did the relay thing when I added HEI and also spliced in a "kill switch" to deenergize said relay. Might come in handy while working underhood and need the engine shut down right now should an emergency arise.

Relays, and also upgraded wires - if necessary - is a very good idea, check here for the voltage loss in the wiring harness in my Aspen.
Gm Hei Module Conversion Troubles
As long as you're under the hood, do yourself a favour, and double check all your ground connections and fusible links.

Ok so i added a nice bosch 30amp relay to the heater much better perfornance..then put one on my hei..then put a 60 amp fusible link behind the alt...how does this sound?
