I looked at some posts about people removing their heater cores and was surprised that it appears they did not have to remove dash.

I was under impression that the whole dash had to be removed to access them so I have put it off for three years.

Please tell me that I can remove them (core and evaporator) without removing dash, I will be so happy! And include any tricks to doing it.

No Dash removal required. You would do well to get a shop manual for your car as that would give you good step by step procedures for everything you will want to do for your car. Good luck.
