Thanks for calling for the update, Brooks! Looking forward to getting these out to the community. I still need to buy a tranny one of these months...

OK, guys, the first 6 plates are on their way to my house. They'll be in around Wed next week. Who would like theirs first? I can safely put Brooks on that list...

Best,

Lou

Actually, I'm going to be working my butt off on non car-related stuff for the next two months, so if somebody needs it first, speak up

I'm in no hurry for mine - no transmission yet - delivery to Mason Dixon possible? I can go ahead and pay the balance due. Drop me a PM.

OK, I have 6 plates in stock as of today, and the last ones are on the way. Will start getting these mailed out and handed off shortly.

Should be some fun building going on soon!

Lou

I have 5 of these in stock now for folks, and the other 5 are in transit from Wilcap. I will be mailing them out over the next week or so, and the rest will get handed off at races and banquet. This has been a lot of work.

I have ONE plate that I ordered extra that is not accounted for. Cost is $560 + ship just like the others. First come, first served.

A few of you still owe me the balance of payment and a few only sent $550 when the cost is $560 so I need $10 more (possibly plus shipping) from you all.

Thanks,

Lou

Personally, I would go lockup, as the new ones are quite durable. I'm interested to hear what you take from Extr Autos, as that seems to be a good place. I wonder if we could get a discout if ordering 5 at the same time??

Cheers, Lou

hello. they (extreme automatics) recommended a stage 2 because of my heavy truck, but i think a stage 1 would be ok for me since i'm not drag racing or pulling any heavy loads. also 500 bucks cheaper. it can have lockup in 3rd and 4th which requires a "lockup kit" to prevent shifting from 3rd to 4th in lockup. they can go as low as 1400 stall (V8 rating) and up. his reply didn't include a response on a group buy, but i will ask again. the response from them was quick so that's a good sign.

here's their website; http://www.extremeautomatics.com/transm ... 2004r.html

from what i have found, all of the coverters are 12 inch diameter. it has been recommended on this forum to use a smaller converter, but haven't found any smaller ones for this trans.

more to come, andy.
