Will,

We may get our clan together as well and come down if there is room. Can you remind me of a rough cost on the track rental per person last year?

Rick

Last time it was $100 per car and we shared the track with 2 other groups.
Which happened to include a 10.5 outlaw viper, a pro mod car and a 871 blown 68 dart. quite a day. We have had the track to our selves before too.

Well now that the turbo is on the race car, we will move on to how to build a street machine. Have patience this could take a couple of years. Step one find suitable car. Check

Step two remove unnecessary weight. Check

Will the build is looking good do you think you'll be ready when the tracks open? I'm on track for nice weather myself I think I'm going to plate and insure mine valiant just so I get get some extra seat time.
What size throttle body and injectors are running. Are you or have you run the cuda on the dyno?

Yes we should be running in the spring. It made 270hp at 6700 rpm normally aspirated, with 60 lb injectors. 485hp at 4500 rpm with 15psi of boost, 125 lb injectors 105mm throttle body. At that point we were having tire spin on the dyno.

Are you guys doing the Finish Welding on the Stainless Tubes?

If so I have read that to do it correctly it's TIG with Stainless Filler and Argon filling the Tube to backgas the weld.

Best of Luck!

Greg
