So I have a project complete car 1969 custom 4 door dart n wonder if I shld do body work myself since its jst my hobby so I can learn new tngs:) like buy the patches n tools to learn with advice videos ?:) wat do u tnk gyes!:)

Speaking from experience, if you have extensive rust issues you are in a for quite a time. I spent nearly a year and a lot of money working on the body. Hindsight would tell me to find a car without those issues. You can buy a decent west car with little rust for less money than you will have in panels, floorboards, rockers, inner fenders etc. Just my take on it. The fun is in the mechanical part of the restoration.

Only you can answer this question. How much time and money do you have? Bodywork take a large amount of time to do right. However, you will learn new skill if you do it yourself. If you have the time, space, and money, why not?
