Hello,
I have a 65 Belvedere II with the 225;
Where is the best place to buy an engine harness?
Are they the same as used on a Mopar V8?
My harness is getting brittle, and I seem to have a short in one of my alternator wires.
Thanks for any help!

The harness is specific to the year, model, and engine. You can get a new harness from Evans Wiring. You'll have to specify the 6-cylinder harness, which is not the same as the V8 harness. You can also specify upgrades you wish to have incorporated in the new harness ('70-up alternator, etc).

I'll contact Evans Wiring today!

And I've been looking thru this forum alot to learn more about slant 6 issues, and I see lots of replies from you, and am so impressed with your knowledge of the slant 6 , its workings, and all the parts sources!
Rock On!!
