the rubber mount can be mounted both ways, I forget how it goes..like this or the other way ?

that is correct, the way to remember it is that the bolts into the tailshaft housing need to be accessible for tightening after installation and adjustment, if it went the other way you would not get to the bolts wihtout being a contortionist.

now 2get that stock torque convert from rick !
I have installed the early tranz-act reverse manual trans brake
gona run it that way /if all is good then out comes the trans for a rework/and a hi-stall torque converter
