front stock frame rails as per my conversation with Scotts rod shop.
remember rack and pinion also u could go power steering but I did not want that . they sold a kit for a 1987 slant truck to a friend and it was very pretty.
right now I can't afford it but it does look very clean
all new.

ps they do knock of aprox $100 if you tell them your referred.

how much weight do u think it saves..

If you are going to weld in a knockoff of a Mustang II front suspension, I am sure you can find much cheaper ones to use.

IMHO,I wouldnt trade my t-bar front suspension for two coil-over front ends even if you offered to weld them for me.The Chrysler tbar front is head and shoulders above the mustang 2 stuff.The only advantage I can see is the r-p steering and header clearance.This is my 2 cents,so take for what its worth.

That appears to be a "copy" of an AlterK-Tion front end from Bill Reilly.

Most of the weight savings is in the lightweight brakes. The rest of it doesn't take off enough weight to justify the cost.

AJE claimed 150# weight savings, but that was IF you were replacing power steering and brakes with manual steering and Wilwood brakes.

If you are replacing manual steering and 9" drums you save about 60# or so.

Having gone through the wringer with an AJE front end, I would find better places to spend money first.

well I do not have funds for this...but

still have used parts old school on car, heavy, not as much engine/exhaust clearance.

4" drop compared to what? A '78 Mustang II, a '32 Ford beam axle. How does that compare to your Dart.

You are comparing apples to oranges. What ride height do you want the car to sit at and then do comparison shopping for the correct unit. Try Fatman's to see what they have, they build the Mustang II retro fit units for a wide range of vehicles.

just called fatmans they do not make a app for 1968 dodge dart because it is a unibody. he said try www.magnumforce.com...they pricy.

If you're building a street car use an AlterK-tion from Bill Reilly. If it's a race only car use a Bob's ProFab.

There are a lot more companies building front end kits that made big claims and junk parts than there are that make good front ends.

Unless you are building an all out race car there are 100 places on a car that the money is better spent than on an aftermarket front end.
