First race of the Nostalgia series is coming up! :D

With the Hooptie back together, I'll be hooking on to the open trailer, and heading up to the track!

The new cam seems to be behaving itself. We'll see if I can get some quality time with it on some dry pavement. I pushed it up while it was wet, and all it got me was sideways. It spun right up though.

Cooling seems to still be an issue. I opened the mechanical advance back up, so I may re-spring to delay the onset all in. The long rod stroker still likes a lot of initial. It'll take more than most road cars with EGR. I'm pushing the head temperatures too high.

A great day at the track! :D

Went to the final. Broke out by more than Jim did.

Had a great day racing!

Mike cut a .000 light his first pass of the year too! Congratulations Mike!

Talked to Gary last night! His son went into the 6.50's Sunday with his FED. (Hemi on Spiked Vodka.) Gotta love Nostalgia classes!

The track changed to a new traction compound this year. It's not VHT. He told me what it was, but I have CRS pretty bad.
Didn't have a traction problem on any of my passes. From what Gary said, the Nitro and blown cars weren't having problems either! Go figure the slants were glued down like flies to fly-paper.

I talked to Gary about the air. Density altitude all day Saturday was pretty solid at -200 feet. Toward the end of the day the moisture cooked out, but the DA stayed nice and low.

That's why you run so fast at Woodburn Mark! :D

Our next Inliner is the 4th. We're not going to pull down to Redding this year. We're shooting for Samoa though!
The bills for the FED are starting to come in, so if I can save a dollar here and there, I'm going to do it. Have fun guys! I'll miss tormenting you!

Isn't it about time for Tristan to make a comeback?

Next year!
