My 87 S/6 equipped Dodge half ton has some bubbles and one small hole in the sheet metal above the windshield. Does anybody know how this can be fixed....permanently ??

Remove windshield and interior trim, Grind off all rusted areas, Weld in patches where holes are, Prime, level with fill if required, Prime and paint the repaired areas, Reinstall windshield and interior trim.

have you attempted this with this series of Dodge trucks (81-93) ?

i am thinking it is not a simple repair since it seems to involve two panels connected at the top of the windshield???

Here's a link to a guy that did it. http://ramchargercentral.com/projects/s ... msg1808807 There's a bunch of random junk at the beginning of the post, but scroll down a little ways and he has lots of pictures. Hope that helps.
