Slant Six Cruise-In @ the winery! August 4th 1 pm until we're done.
Free admission and wine tasting to all slant powered vehicles and vehicles that should be (other Mopars).

Basically I love these a cars and want to throw a party. I'll have the Schwenkers going, a kind of German BBQ so bring meat for the grills. Live music and a nice field to display our cars.

Teutonic Wine Company
15640 S Spangler Rd. Oregon city, OR 97045
Just south of Oregon City

More info to come...

Barnaby and Olga

Barnaby has been talking about doing this for a long time. He's very excited to get ya'll together (especially your cars). We've never hosted anything like this before at the winery!

More details to come!

What about those of us currently slant-less? I do have a 1968 model-year car with a 4 that leans to the right quite a ways, but it's a German import. :D

P.S. You can edit the thread title. 8)

Of course your welcome! It is a 60's car, plus you set me straight with my turbo cam.

It leans... Is it a Saab?

OK, now I am curious. How many auto manufactures made slants? Mopar, Audi and BMW? Triumph??

The 196. That's right. I always ran big block binder V8's. Forgot about that one.

You gonna be at Woodburn tomorrow?

No car to run, finishing up the last bits on the 11" clutch conversion then I can run the reassembled engine in, and trying to button together the underside of the FDX.

Might have something together later in the month depending on how things go.

So,

Lobster1! If we were to drive or trailer up our cars, and let's say we ate and sampled a bit too much, can we camp on the grounds? Is there a nearby hotel? Tell us about the salubrious accommodations!

If you have as much as you and Neil did back when, I don't think SlantWidow will let you back on the property if you are found banging
on the winery door at 2am yelling "Let us in!!!!"
