I recently purchased a Dwell-Tach meter it has two leads, a black and red. Which do I hook to the coil and where, :D it did not come with instructions, but is in mint condition for one made in 1972.......

Thanks Richard it will be neat to see my RPM's since the Dart doesn't have a tach on it to show them........... :D

Hmm.... I've always run mine red to coil positive, black to coil negative.
Maybe it's a brand thing?

Been soo long since I even looked at the thing, mine is a three lead meter, so ignore me.
