So I have searched a few times and I can not seem to find a definite answer.

I have a super six setup with a Carter BBD. Are the mechanical choke thermostats no longer available? If not what is a part number. Second if they are gone is the Carbsonly electronic conversion setup the other answer?

Carbs Only should be your first choice anyway since it is a better design than the original equipment. If you can't find a stock choke thermostat or a carbs only choke thermostat, there is always a manual choke.

They have been discontinued, and NOS is the only source. Per Reed, there is an electrical substitute that works better than stock, and manual is a cheap and easy install (I think I bought a kit at the local auto parts store for a whopping $10, knob, wire, and bracket for the dash.)

Looks like Rock Auto has SMP CV230 on the list...for $15.97, but SMP's catalog no longer lists these...knowing that RockAuto does get old stock on an occasion, you might get lucky...
