installed a new torn'd header gasket/tried some hi temp permitex sealent but # 4 cylinder spits .hooker headers.

have spare gasket new untorn

can the car be driven more 20-40 minutes without valve damage?

are you concerned abouit a small leakage allowing under hood temp air to rush in to an exhaust valve and cause the valve to warp?

you want to fix the leak, so you are not exposed to the CO that gets by the fire wall,,

if you are woried about the valves,,allow the engine to idle 10 minutes or so after a hot run,, to balance out the temperatures in the engine prior to shutting it down,, but fix exhaust leaks for your benefit.
