Hey all. I am in serious need of a heavier mech adv spring for the d100 engine I have just put together. It is advancing way too fast and I am having zero success with finding any Springs for my dist. Would someone please help. I pm'd both DI and big slant six fan over a month ago and have received no reply. Thank you Richard for pm'ing me back right away. He doesn't have any either.

I can be at Woodburn Tomorrow if someone can bring some to try. I have a beige one in there now.

I really want to get this ready for Redding next weekend.

Thank you, ramping up too fast in Portland.

Thank you Rick, do you think a second pm will jog his memory of my first pm?

Ray.

You can always get one from a HP 340, 383 or 440 distributors. That is what I am using for the secondary spring. It is very heavy gauge with a long loop.

You can use the primary spring from those distributors also. It is usually a red medium gauge spring.

Rotate your spring posts out too to help tighten the spring and slow down the advance.
