What will the car be used for? Most kits people sell are crappy tubing (not DOM) so they are not legal for road racing (SCCA, NASA). I just had a custom 4 pt rollbar put in my '66 V100 (will upgrade to full cage later) for $400 installed.

They are probably just like every other "precut" cage kit. The pieces are close to fitting, but have to be trimmed on installation.

We are using an Alston Duster kit in my car and it was reasonably close, but has required lots of "touch-up". :shock:

Hey Bagel just talked to a metal fabicator and we are puting in the six point cage and all alunimun floor pans its a done deal . The car goes in next weekend he said we can pull off 100 pounds with that setup plus what im going to do to the car. Will help me breakout even more. This is Slant Six no hold um, and im all in ,for next year. Maybe some more suprises at the Banquit. Are you all in. Possum Parker :D :D Ps i have found something i can burn better than a Bagel that is a Kiaser roll. stay tuned :D :D

Ron, we are making some progress on the Duster, but it is still light years away from being ready. At least we made it past the point when I wanted to cut it up for scrap. :roll:

I am committed to being at Clay City and St. Louis. The rest we will play by ear. :shock:
