Can anyone give me any information on these headers? They are hooker headers (they have little hearts around the exhaust ends). I think they are the ceramic coated version.

Can anyone tell me what they were for specifically (car, truck) or any special features they may or may not have? I'll tell you right now, they DO NOT fit in a 67 dart.

I bought them with a manifold and a carb thinking they would fit (carb is a 600 cfm which won't work either, another story entirely) so I am looking to sell them but I know as soon as I list them, someone's going to ask some questions I don't know the answer to.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you want them, make me an offer.

Thanks.

They didn't fit around the steering linkage, through that area. They fit onto the engine just fine but not in the engine compartment. They definitely aren't the ones you linked to. I looked at those, and I actually thought I was getting those when I talked to the guy I bought them from. The angle immediately after they come out of the head is a lot steeper. If you notice on the ones I've got, the first tube comes straight out and down, whereas the jegs ones come out and immediately angle in.

Mine, the first tube comes out and stays along the bottom of the cluster, the jegs one goes over the top and towards the inside.

You're probably right, I was thinking they were for either a truck or a van. Unfortunately, I don't know how to find out which truck or van in particular. I would have a better time selling them if I could at least give a model or year range or something. I'm sure someone can use them but I don't know my audience.

The most baffling thing is, I can't find any information on them. Every time I search for 225 slant six, all I get are the ones from Clifford Performance and the ones linked above from Hooker.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about other types or sizes of engines to expand my search.

Not sure, but I do not think they will fit a 2WD truck. The rear set of headers drops almost straight down and it looks like they would run right into the cross member. The truck headers swings back and down to miss the frame/cross member.
