I'm a MOPAR plastic 1/25 scale model car builder and like building my cars factory stock and spend a lot of time researching real cars to get the correct details. I'm currently building a 67 Plymouth Belvedere station wagon with a slant 6. I'm looking for information on what color the engine would of been .

Thanks for any information

'67 would have been red like the small blocks IIRC.

Hi MOPAR D.
I am sorry for hijacking this thread, but I thought it could be a fitting continual on the theme.

I have made a formal request to moderator Guido, regarding the possibility to start a new section for Mopar scale model cars and other Mopar related models, like for example the SL6 model engine. There are also makers of whole scenarios, like scenes from a workshop or gas station, and some of them are of absolutely stunning quality. Making you favorite custom build in small scale plastic, is also a great way to present you creativity and ideas to others. Apart from the pleasure of making a model car, it could also be a soft introduction to Mopar and SL6 for our younger followers.

I know many other forums have a model car section, but maybe not all members here would agree to us having one, so please comment on my suggestion.

Olaf

Olaf, no problem here in hijacking currently I'm posting most my MOPAR builds on the MOPAR in scale site that is set up for MOPAR scale models. Here the link if your interested.
