I have a 64 Valiant /6 4spd. The left rear leaf spring is sagging. Are all the A bodies the interchangable? Seems people only list the 67 an up. I have a pair of 5 leaves from 70 Duster I want to put in. No road racer so not looking for stiff. I did notice mine only has 4 leaves per side. Thinking the 5 leaf would be just right. I only see guys talking about having 5 or 6 leaves. Just wondering if 4 leaves were just the early A'.

Any A body spring will fit. I think the 4 leafs were for base Slant cars.

The only difference you may run into is the size of the bolt in the front spring eye. Factory ones until '73 were 1/2". '73 and up, as well as most replacement springs are 5/8". If you get ones with the bigger bolt just drill out your hangers and get some 5/8" bolts.
