You have to adjust the cam inside them from time to time to be sure they open all the way. I set mine for about mile from the house. Then it is fully open and idling at 600 rpm in gear. I don't think many folks do this maintenance and assume it's junk and throw them away. A little PB Blaster and a slight twist from my 18" Snap On flat blade, and your done and running in about 3 minutes.

Yeah, I had no idea. New choke is already on there though.
