Now that I've upgraded a bit, I want to secure the hood (64 Dart GT).
Befrore I go to the ol' chain & lock, I thought I'd ask if anyone has done a more "stock" modification.
I remember a "Chapman" lock, which was a combination kill switch/hood lock, but I can't find any info on the company. Anyone know if they're still in business ?

on my Volare i have hoodpins instead of a regular cable pull hood release, instead of having the pins i went out and got the locks, to me this still looks good (factoryish) and does the trick.

if you dont wanna put pins in then you can grab a cable hood release from a junkyard instead of the old hand pop one

I seem to remember J.C. Whitney offering a lockset that installed similar to hoodpins. Can't remember a price, but it might be worth looking into.

I found the hood lock/cable with kill switch built in on jcwhitney.com for $40.
