8)
I built my Hyper-Pak out of the Mopar Performance book for slant sixes.
Larry Shepard who writes the Mopar Performance books is a good friend of mine.
I would recommend the mopar muscle hyper pak build up they did a few months back, you can go to Clifford Performance and download the build up they did called Slant Sickness.
I went alot further on my hyper-pak due to the fact I was able to get alot of rare pieces for the build up.
As for carb heat I used a Clifford water heated carb spacer.
never had any problems with the cylinders washing out or any plug fouling.
even in 10 degree weather and wind chills below 0' the hyper-pak runs like a champ easy start up after 4-5 mins at 1,500rpm it's ready to go.
even the Clifford Hyper-Pak intake worked great didn't have to put in popsicle sticks or build up damns in any of the runners to equal out the fuel I guess luck was on my side.
if you decide to go the same route as me I will give you all the breakdown on my build up.
Good Luck on your hyper pak

We also have that artilce posted here:

As for the fuel distribution being good on the aftermarket H.Pak manifolds, that is true. We spent a lot of time working that out.
If you look inside the manifold, the dams are already casted into place. Note that the casted-in dams were for a sideway mounted carb with the secondaries facing the left fender.

Really nice pictures. Thanks for showing them. What kind of work did you do to the engine?

1971 225/6 block bored 0.60 over Speed Pro W/Chrome Moly Rings
71' Forged Crankshaft Rod & Mains Turned 0,010 under.
71 'Cylinder Head milled 0.100 Installed Direct Connection 1.70 Intake -1.44Exhaust Valves these are very rare to find.Hardened Seats,BronzeWall Valve Guides, Bracket Valve Job
Camshaft is a Direct Connection Part #P4286681 which has a duration of 276 degree and a .490" lift. Both the Valves and Camshaft were aquired from a chrysler engineer that I am good friends with living here in Maryland .
I was very fortunate to get the Hot-Rod magazine copy that Doug Dutra did the Slant Sickness build-up in and used alot of his knowledge and technical advice on completing my hyper-pak build up.
that is why the little 232/6 runs so great.
Now that I sit back and realize the only difference is the camshaft profile I used.
Everything else is right from the slant sickness build-up.
I know everybody has their own way of building motors but if you are gonna go the hyper-pak route and you want a potent little slant six just follow the slant sickness build up and you will be very happy with the results just like I am.
It runs great gets decent mileage can defenitly run with the 8 cylinder crowd and will fry the rear tires with ease.
Being new here and to the slant six engines when I saw the Slant Sickness build up I was determined to build a hyper-pak for myself.
Big blocks and small blocks are a dime a dozen but a hyper-pak is very rare.
I defenitly owe a big thank you to Doug Dutra for getting me educated on the slant six and for doing the slant sickness build up
