What they are selling on E-Gag is a '66 Hemi Charger rebody kit. Tags, title, other assorted various parts and a good 318 or 383 Charger becomes a Hemi car. :roll:

And yes, there are people who will argue that doing so is both legal and ethical.

It is neither. :shock:

My all time favorite is watching the first few minutes of the original "Gone in 60 seconds" where the literally show the audience how to tear down one challenger, then clone it on another one and then con it off for insurance fraud...

:shock:

Same deal with the hemi car...

First thought I had when I looked at the pictures. I don't think there is a metal worker on the planet who could restore that car. The seller and the bidders HAVE to know this.
I cannot imagine an argument that "rebodying" would be legal or ethical. The only course of action that would fit those conditions is to part it out. Maybe the engine, trans and rear axle??
Wonder if the owner collected on insurance.
