Dennis, I am going to call you captain negativity!

Yes I know. Yes I will likely run it just for the wow factor on the engine that goes in the car for this year. I won't be all that fast but it might as well look cool.

Pretty sure that next year at this time I will be installing another big bore motor and Jeffrey head, so the Clifford intake and long tube headers will go back on. We shall see.

Rick

Then you will find out what a horrible manifold il really is.

But you already know that, don't you.

I can Attest to that.
Anything below 65* on a cold engine is dance on the throttle city.. yay for a stick car.

If it were on a dry MPEFI System it would be more than ideal.

I am interested in how much they weigh?

Do I need to come out there with my scale and find out myself?

Both the original mini starter and the new "super mini" weighed 7 lbs. That should be pretty close because the UPS label on the box the starter came in said it weighed 7.9 lbs. So there is not really a weight savings, only a space savings.

Hang it on the wall a revel in the fact that you own one. You will be happier in the long run.

Might make an attractive clock. The works would fit nicely where the carb sits.

It took me more time than I care to admit to figure out how to NOT
Cut a hold in my hood and fit the hyperpak.
What I did was opened up the the plenum area and inserted a phenolic spacer that I machined down. I used a 1/2 inch spacer from jegs and cut it down to about an 1/8 inch thick. The center 4 hole section sets down into the manifold 3/8 of an inch. That is about the thickness of the mounting are of the manifold. I drilled and tapped the manifold to accept the carb studs directly.
I then used a low profile plenum from spectre performance that flows 600 CFM with a 4 inch tube opening. I did have to cut one rib, but if done right it looks good. A four door car street vehicle looks silly with a hole in the hood.
I will try to post some picture soon.
