Did the Mo-Kan points race survive or get cut?
Forced induction slant 6 tow money will stay intact even if we don't have points available.

So my attempt to install a Clifford Dual Double Barrel Carb. intake and headers in 3 days blew up in my face. We got to almost run for a quater of a second. I was blowing fire out the Carbs. Thus sadly Ill have to wait till next year. Hopefully we'll figure out the problem.

We just made it home through 6 hours of ice and snow!

We had a nice time at the banquet with 11 racers and their families in attendance. We missed a lot of our regulars and the turn-out was not as large as in the past due to a lot of different things. But still a great time.

We had some nice awards and I will post some pictures later for all to see.

Rules discussions went well, I believe, but everyone will need to be patient for just a bit as we give the West coast a chance to do their voting on the items we discussed. I will get that information to Bruce shortly, and he will get it to the Killer Bees for their input.

Here are a couple photos of our Banquet. We did something special this year with our awards. Lou and I talked and thought it may be nice to honor some of the great racers that we have in our little series. We gave a plaque to each racer who had accumulated a lifetime total of more than 1000 points in our series. We have 2 racers that fall into that group. Meril Bruner, and Ron Parker. It was great that Ron got to make it. We also had 2 that had over 2000 lifetime points. Rodney Hargis and Ron Hamby. The late Dale rose also fell into the 1000 point club.
A special thanks to Rob Simmons for all the effort that he puts into keeping the points for everyone. He has agreed to continue doing this long distance after he leaves.
Rodney & Alana Hargis took care of the plaques and trophies for 1st-10th place and made up some really sweet 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place trophies. They also gave Ryan and Whitney a nice cake since they are expecting another member of the Covalt clan to come along in June. Congratulations to them!
Thanks you to all who made the banquet a success. And a special thanks to the ladies who fed us and cleaned up after us!
