I found a supposedly 1967 Dodge Dart Sports Special in my local auto graveyard. The car is for sale, has a slant six, clear title, etc., etc. My question is...what does the "Sports Special" refer to?

I have seen some of what I believe to be 69's with a decal that reads,"western sport special" which I think was a discount package aka,full wheelcovers,vinyl top,etc. probably sold in the western part of the U.S......similar to the "white hat specials"{white vinyl top,etc} But the latter never had a decal. Lets get some more feedback, people!! mopar-go-far
