Don't put a throttle in the path of your wastegate signal. You want the wastegate to control the turbo based upon what the turbo puts out, not what you're metering into the engine with your right foot/throttle.

anyone? i have the pump, a walbro 255lph and about to get the regulator mallory 4309. after that im gonna get it going again. i have a 3/8" from the tank to the pump. 3/8 return line was recommended on theturboforums but i think that may be excessive and wouldnt allow the regulator to give me the pressure im going to need. i was leaning tward 5/16" return line.

anyone have anything to add? would be greatly appreciated.

I bent a 3/8" line for feed, and use the stock 5/16" line for return.

The return line is generally the same size as the supply so that the regulator has control over the fuel pressure rather than the restrictions in the plumbing. The regulator is closed until the pressure is at the set point and then starts dumping fuel into the return line.

No such thing as too big a return line. If it was too small, you wouldn't be able to adjust pressure low enough due to the artificial restriction the line makes. If there's not enough pressure the regulator takes care of the rest.
