is yours a 60 amp # 600-861-1611 ??...for mine book says 45-47 amp... pulled mine off has a 74 on it and oem# 3085191 w/ 05305... im thinking its a 60 amp already... confused now

No, mine is a 100 amp Nippondenso alternator off of a late 80s Caravan. It bolts on in place of the stock alternator and requires upgrading the wiring between the alternator and the battery.

I don't know the numbers off my 60 amp, but if yours is off a '74 it probably already is. That is the era for the 60 amp Chrysler alternators. Mine was listed for a '75.

that first # is for a 60 amp denso 74 and 75 vans bascially same van....was wondering if this 60 amp denso will work with my system...is an alt an alt if its 60 amp as long as boltup is same....

Mine is a 120 amp form a 94 Dakota, which I had rebuilt just for fun and upgraded at the "Rebuilder" in Kent.
