has anyone tried to machine the pump housing on a non-lockup trans to fit the rear 4 clutch drum of a lockup trans to make it work in earlier trans? i can not find the right 4 clutch rear drum that came in the 318 360 v8 998 999 trans. i was looking at the v8 later 904 a500 trans and seems the only difference is the inner drum sealing ring dia. i think! any ideas?
