Had to replace a broken wheel stud and figured I'd get all five of them because they were so buggered up. Problem is, the holes in the hub were so rusted up that the new studs just spin when I try to torque down the lug nuts. Any idea on a fix (short of welding the studs in place)? I've been looking for a new hub and can't find one outside of the wrecking yard, which just brings me back to broken and rusted studs.

9 or 10 " brakes-- probably 9 (slant car)
did you pound out the old studs beat the drum off the hub?

or did you remove the swedge that holds the hub to the drum?
you might have ruined your hub-- any 9" hub should work -- up until around 73-- those might work also.
