That is not a super six carb. That is an early 70s 318 carb. The choke linkage is for a 318 and there is no bowl vent nipple for the charcoal cannister, and the PCV tube is short and straight (318) not long and bent (225).

That REALLY sucks. Most people are good. Guys like them give all of us a bad name. I hope you get it worked out.

I have a brand-new-in-Chrysler-box (not "remanufactured" or rebuilt) BBD for '67-'75 225-2bbl (factory export item), but if you're about to sell the car maybe a perfect new carb isn't on the shopping list or in the budget.

(Nice car -- just like my father's first car, except his was automatic)

WOW! There is a lot of room under the hood of that car! I thought I was looking at an Australian car because the steering column is so far away from the engine. It took awhile to realize where it was way of the side like that.

Found a carb (Carter BBD) but am still looking for the bracket that attaches the air cleaner to the carb - I posted a wanted ad in the "Parts wanted" section but figured I'd post a follow up here as well...

I made mine... Used the wire frame to an old lamp post. Cut it down, and bent the ends. Used a bolt and nut through the center hole (make sure to lock-tite it, dont want it rattling into the carb!) and voiala! Ill try to get a pic posted... Not the prettiest, but it functions and was free.99!
